  • The Summer Biomedical Electronics Experience is a two-week program designed to provide high school students with the knowledge and skills needed to make an informed decision about a career in the growing field of biomedical engineering. Students can expect full immersion in an academic biomedical engineering environment surrounded by peers, instructors, and researchers. Hands-on activities and guided instruction will give a clear understanding of the fundamentals of this exciting field.

    $750 tuition - information about need-based scholarships available upon request. Late-registration applications must be received by July 20th, 2018 to be considered.

  • The initial application deadline has passed, but applications are still being accepted since a 2 seats are still available for the SMU session of the program. 

    To apply, a parent or guardian will need to create an account below with both parent/guardian and student information, select the desired summer program, complete a brief questionnaire, then upload an essay and transcripts. For more information on the requisite application material, click here.
