Mission

To share the thrill of scientific discovery. At The Shoulders of Giants, we believe that one should never stop being a student. The pursuits of science and engineering are rewarding and engaging experiences which, unfortunately, most students do not have the opportunity to fully explore. We exist to help bring that opportunity to all students, of all ages.

Description

About The Shoulders of Giants, Inc.

The Shoulders of Giants, Inc. (TSoG), a Dallas-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, was founded in 2013 on the belief that world-class science education should be available to all students of all ages. Since its inception, TSoG has provided opportunities for thousands of students across North Texas to experience science first-hand and broaden their horizons through the guidance of Dr. Steven J. Foland, an accomplished engineer, and educator.

Recently - Summer-Fall 2018, TSoG closed the northeast Dallas facility and opened a new state-of-the-art engineering lab and production studio in North Dallas. With a wealth of time-tested and proven engineering curricula, we have launched a new virtual learning platform (TSoG.tv). Free student membership includes access to organized course content and materials, instructor-led live streams through Twitch/YouTube and Discord channels, and a sense of community with like-minded peers and professionals.
